Are you an individual or couple in need of support?
I see my counseling role as a guide, someone to help you navigate those challenging transitions in life, and come out stronger on the other side. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard from clients that they didn’t get much out of previous therapy because they felt like they were doing “all the talking” without much feedback. I offer warmth and compassion, yes, and I’m an excellent and empathetic listener, but I’m also directive in my approach. I love to use humor, and wouldn’t be genuine without it. Sound like we might be a good fit? Let me tell you a little bit more about the work I do.
I love working with couples, in all forms. Feeling gridlocked with the same issues or patterns?
I can help with that.
I have experience working with folx who are facing major ruptures, including infidelity or affairs. I also have experience working with separation and/or divorce counseling (uncoupling).
My frameworks for couples’ work come from being highly trained in the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT).
I also have experience and feel very comfortable working with folx in the kink community, LGBTQI couples, poly/non-monogamous frameworks, and interracial couples.
Accepted Insurance Providers for individual work: Aetna, Medcost, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum, and Healthgram.
I do not take insurance for couples’ work at this time. My out of pocket rate for couples is $200 for the initial assessment, $175 ongoing.
I do maintain sliding scale equity slots.
Please note: In accordance with the No Surprises Act (passed in January of 2022), all clients are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) Impact Summary upon request and before first appointment.
You’re Not Broken, You’re Human
There’s no “right” way to move through life, but we exist in systems that often makes it feel like there is—one filled with stress, judgment, and isolation.
I love being able to help people get back to a place where they feel connected with themselves, and their partners.
In our work together, we’ll explore what it means to live in a way that feels okay for you. You’re not broken, you don’t need to be “fixed”, and you are not the challenges you navigate.

Counseling Unconditionally
I take pride in having a space that is accepting, non-judgmental, and warm, and invite folks of any race, gender, sexual orientation, and religious/spiritual beliefs. I am very comfortable talking about these pieces of our identities, and welcome those sometimes challenging conversations.
